Franco has been in partnership with Thomas More University Belgium, since 2019. The partnership programs include;
· Student online collaboration
· Student mobility
· Staff mobility
STUDENT ONLINE COLLABORATION
The “Mikata Group”, is the group of students who are engaged in the student online collaboration. The students are paired: Ghana and Belgium, and they exchange addresses and fix time and duration for activities to commence the collaboration. At the end, partners collate results of the student’s partnership into a report.
In 2022, 60 students from Ghana and 60 students from Belgium making a total of 120 students participated in the online program.
STUDENT MOBILITY PROGRAM
Visit by Franco Students to Belgium
As part of the student mobility program, three students, namely; Anyame Josephine, Apreko Wisdom, and Dodzi Kutordzor visited Belgium from 2nd February to 29th April 2022. They joined other students from 16 countries including Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Ukraine, among others who formed an international class. The courses mounted for them were outlined as follows;

iv. Digital learning
“More to Discover” is fundamental to any visitor in Belgium. It had to do with taking the students outside to see things they hadn’t seen before. They helped to discover new things in their lives. They took them to Antioch, a river, they climbed the highest mountain in Belgium, and also went to France and European union.
The More Multilingual Education had to do with linguistic which is fundamental to communication. The students were introduced to fundamental language. They studied some of their language thus, ‘how to join a bus’, ‘how to buy’, ‘how much’. among others.
“More Innovation Education” exposed the students to the rudiments of research. They were made to gather information which they made presentations on.
“The Digital Learning” was basically about incorporating modern technology into teaching and learning.
The International Day
That was from the 17th to 22nd February, 2022. The day witnessed people from Greece, United Kingdom, Portugal, Netherlands, among others. The three Franco students joined 147 other participants making a total of 150 to converge at Brussel for the international day celebration. The international day celebration is an academic celebration where participants have the opportunity to interact with students of their choice or level, (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels) where one’s expertise fits and prepares a lesson to deliver.
