St Francis College of Education in collaboration with Care Support, Belgium, have launched an inspiring movement, Sanitation Digest, aimed at transforming our environment while fostering innovation. The initiative, which was started by the Principal, Dr. Adwoa Kwegyirba, focuses on collecting discarded sachet rubbers and recycling them into useful products for the College community.
Through this project, waste plastics that once littered our surroundings are being given new life as durable desks, flower pots, and roofing sheets. These recycled products will directly support campus development while promoting sustainability and cleaner surroundings.
Sanitation Digest is more than just a sanitation campaign. It is a call to responsibility, creativity, and environmental stewardship. With the leadership of Dr. Kwegyirba, the College is setting an example of how waste can be turned into wealth and how collective action can lead to lasting change.
Care Support is a multinational establishment which supports organizations in diverse ways such as sanitation, home care, nurses and healthcare assistants.
