Gilbert Agyemang is a Chartered Accountant and a Financial Management Expert. He
provided technical support in terms of Financial Management for the implementation of
DFATD Funded Project dubbed “Food Security and Environmental Facility Project” (FESF)
in the three Northern Regions in Ghana funded by the people of Canada, CORAF Project as
well as ACBF Project.
He was the Financial Management Expert on the UNFPA fund management project who
reviewed the books of three organizations namely Ghana Statistical Services, Planned
Parenthood of Ghana, and National Development Planning Commission to ensure that they
complied with the Procurement Laws, Public Sector Financial Management Act, and Stores
Regulation.
Over the years, he was the Head of Accounts Division at the College of Agricultural Education,
University of Education, Mampong Asante Campus. He was the Project Accountant in University
of Education for Carnegie Project. He also served as Accountant in the School of Technology,
and School of Governance and Public Service in GIMPA.
He was the Financial Management Consultant and Project Accountant on Ghanaman
Community Reinvestment Grant Project and provided technical and financial assistance for
the smooth running of the project.
Mr. Agyemang also provided private consultancy services to some number of organizations
including Penplusbytes, Innovations Hub both operating in Osu for the past ten years.
Currently, he is the Finance Officer in St. Francis College of Education, Hohoe, in the Volta
Region for the past seven years.
He has a rich experience in training on the use of accounting software, internal auditing and
budgetary control. He is a good communicator and takes relevant decision that drives
organizations forward.
He is a self starter with a high degree of initiative, very imaginative, creative and brainstorming
analyst.
He has passion to serve, strong desire with knack for paying attention to details and
industrious.
