PROFESSOR KWAKU OBOSU-MENSAH DONATES BOOKS TO FRANCO

Professor of Sociology/international Studies, Social Sciences and Human Services at the Lorain County Community College, Elyria, Ohio, United States is an old Student of St. Francis College of Education.  

On Monday 12 2023, the Professor who is an active member of Old Franciscan Association (OFA) donated a number of books on algebra to the college. These books were presented to the College management by the OFA organizer, Mr. Ras Kumabia, a tutor from the Science department on his behalf.  

The Principal, Dr. Adwoa Kwegyiriba in her gratitude message during the short presentation ceremony, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to OFA for their numerous support to the college. She indicated that the commitment of old students to the progress of any institution is very vital for growth and development of that institution. Dr. Adwoa acknowledged OFA for their continues support to the college for a good course.

The College Ag. Librarian, Mr. Joseph Plahar acknowledged receipt of the books and said it would serve a good purpose in enhancing the library’s resources.

Present at the brief ceremony were the Principal, the Ag. Librarian, the Auditor, the Finance officer and the PRO.  

The Professor, who was also present at the recent graduation ceremony of the 1st batch of the B.ED Degree programme held on June 9, 2023, indicated that embracing change was necessary for development. He urged the graduands to climb higher heights and take advantage of opportunities.
