Rev. Samuel Edem Ayetor
The Registrar plays the dual role of the Chief Administrative Officer of the College and also as Secretary to Council, all Committees of Council as well as all Statutory Committees of the College. The Registrar’s office is responsible, under the Principal, for the day-to -day administration and management of the College. It is the responsibility of the Registrar to ensure the functioning of all Boards and Standing Committees of the College.
The Registrar is assisted by a crop of Administrators and Professionals made up of Deputy Registrar, Senior Assistant Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Junior Assistant Registrar who handle the various Departments of the Office and service Committees and Boards of the College.
The Registrar’s office oversees the following:
- Academic and Students Affairs
- Human Resource Management
- General Services
- Public Relations
- Council Affairs
Rev. Samuel Edem Ayetor is a seasoned educator and administrator with extensive experience in human resource development and educational leadership. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Africa Research University in Lusaka, Zambia. Rev. Ayetor holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from the University of Cape Coast and a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Education, Winneba. He also possesses a Diploma in Basic Education from the same university, as well as a Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ from Dambai Training College (now Dambai College of Education).
He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana.
Rev. Ayetor served in the Ghana Education Service for sixteen years, including three years as a Headmaster. He subsequently joined St. Francis College of Education, where he has held several key leadership positions. These include Head of the Human Resource Unit, Head of General Administration, and Head of the Health and Safety Unit. He has also served as Chairman of the College Welfare Fund and represented non-teaching staff on the 4th Governing Council of the College. Additionally, he acted as Secretary to the Governing Council for nearly a year. He was appointed the Ag. Registrar on February 3rd, 2025.
